Healthy Families Counseling & Services welcomes your donations that will support our mission to provide vital not-for-profit family support services to children,youth and families in the Northland Community, which includes Platte, Ray and Clay counties.
Types of Acceptable Donations
Gifts of Cash provide maximum flexibility for addressing our clients' needs and necessary operating funds. Cash gifts may be designated for specific projects or capital needs.
Sponsor Donors commit to provide financial support on a monthly, quarterly or Special Event basis.
Memorial or Honor Gifts
Memorial gifts are discretely acknowledged to the family of the departed. Honor gifts recognize friends, associates or loved ones to celebrate special occasions.
Stock Gifts
Appreciated stock (held for more than one year) is an excellent gift. Charitable tax deductions may be available.
Bequests and Planned Gifts Providing at-risk chldren with loving, professional care is possible because of individuals making provision in their will or estate plan.
There are several types of bequsts to consider:
· Cash Bequest - a specific dollar amount
· Residuary Bequest - a percentage of your estate after specific bequests, debts, taxes and expenses have been paid
· Specific Bequest - specific assets such as stock, real estate or personal property
In-Kind Donations By providing goods or services free of charge basic needs of clients are met, oeprational expenses are offset or Special Events are enhanced, all increasing our ability to make services affordable and accessible.
